Peter Watts reported on the Halloween Party. About 140 children attended, the help was great this year and compliments were received on the party and the haunted house. The Lioness Club did a great job with registration, food and costume parade. Lioness Darcey and Lion Alyssa had things organized and did a wonderful job planning.

Mark McLAIN reported on the Christmas basket program. About 115 families are signed up so far. The work days will be December 17th and 18th. Lioness Club will do fruit.

PDG MaryAnn Lynch spoke about the 100th Anniversary of Lions and the projects which are being planned in various areas to commerate it. Activities involving youth, the environment, vision and hunger relief are to be the focus of each club’s planning.

Double H Fall cleanup is being planned by Lion Mark and details will be forthcoming. This took place last Saturday the 12th of November with 8 Lions helping.

Mark McLain made a motion and Roger Williams seconded buying hors d’oeuvres for the Christmas Party. Passed

Each Lion is asked to bring $5 to the Christmas Party to donate to a needy child’s Christmas.

We will again be collecting to buy new coats for children of our Christmas Basket families. Cost will be $17 each. You can decide how many you wish to purchase and get a check for the amount to Peter Watts at 23 Hack Road, Corinth 12822 or see him at the next meeting.
